If you’ve been disappointed with the lack of a “small” iPhone for several years, Apple can hear you. And not surprisingly, they would like to sell you a new phone. The all-new version of the iPhone SE is now on sale for just $ 399 to start, looking like the original phone with small, updated features.
The iPhone SE was last seen in 2016, a budget model intended to cater to users who did not like the giant screens of almost all recent smartphones. This updated version uses the same 4.7-inch screen and an older design for the device body – note the large frames at the top and bottom, and a physical home button with the fingerprint reader Integrated Apple Touch ID digital. But under the hood, it’s running an A13 processor, the same as that in the iPhone 11 series.
The phone includes an IP67 water resistance rating, Qi wireless charging, fast wired charging and Wi-Fi 6. But the highlight of the improvements has to be the new single camera system, taking advantage of the various improvements made by Apple in recent years. It is rated at 12 megapixels with an F / 1.8 lens and can record 4K 60fps videos. Unfortunately, the face unlock was not successful.
The $ 399 base model has 64 GB of storage, with 128 GB and 256 GB for $ 449 and $ 549, respectively. (It’s $ 50 cheaper than the iPhone 8, the oldest current model sold by Apple.) It will be available in the colors black, white and RED. Orders will start on Apple online store Friday April 24.
