Build Your Own 'Black Panther' Statue with Free Instructions from a LEGO Master

LEGO fans, you’ve got a new project this weekend: a cute Black Panther statue, with instructions from LEGO Masters co-winner Tyler Clites. The Brick Show store provides free instructions for this remarkable design as a PDF download. You will need to supply the bricks yourself (or pick them up from an online store).

A little background: LEGO “MOC” (short for My Own Creation) are designs that are displayed and shared with the community. Independent LEGO designers sell the instructions for a few dollars, and fans can use their own collections to create the set or purchase individual pieces to complete it. from sites like BrickLink.

This MOC is inspired by the Black Panther statue, as seen in the fictional nation of Wakanda in the comics and Marvel movie of the same name. It was designed by famous LEGO artist, Tyler Clites, who gained national fame as the winner of the FOX TV game show Lego Masters last year, with his wife and fellow LEGO designer Amy Clites.

To commemorate T’Challa / Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, who sadly passed away from cancer at the end of last month, Clites now allows anyone to download instructions for free.
