Think you have the perfect combination of computer literacy and writing skills? We are looking for a few experienced writers to join our team.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for experienced freelance writers to cover the complex and ever-changing world of IT, and present complex solutions in a way that is easy to understand for both new and experienced readers.

We are looking for writers with specific expertise in at least some of the following areas. General Linux / Windows system administration experience is expected.

Experience in performing system deployments on cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, DO)
Solution architecture, ability to design and deploy services adapted to meet a business need
DevOps, Agile development
Docker and containers
Machine learning, big data computation
Cyber ​​security
Database administration
Cloud based web hosting
Programming and software development

If you have extensive knowledge of one or more of these areas and would like to share your skills with our readers, you might be a good candidate for CSIT. In addition to these specific areas, all of our writers should have the following qualities:

You should be able to write tips, how-to articles, and explanations on complex systems and topics that are clear and easy to understand for new readers.
You need to be creative and have the ability to generate article ideas, accept suggestions, and make topics interesting and exciting.
You must be at least 18 years old and have your own computer.
You must have strong writing skills in English.
You should have some basic screenshots and some image editing chops.

Explain why your computer skills deserve the attention of our readers.
Your name and location.
A brief overview of the topics you are familiar with.
Any previous work experience you have in both writing and / or blogging and professional IT.
Whether or not you are currently employed and what do you do if you are?
The most important: We want a handwriting sample. If you’ve written to present before, especially the variety of procedures or explanations, include a link to it in your email. If you have a personal blog, forum account, or commenter account from anywhere, feel free to include that as well.

We don’t have regular office hours, or even an office, so you can be located anywhere – this is strictly a telecommute job.
