If you’ve recently played embarrassing games on your Nintendo Switch and don’t want them to appear in your Play Activity where your friends can see it, you can delete your Gaming Activity completely. Here’s how.
First, go to the “Home” menu (press the “Home” button), then select your user profile icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
Your profile settings page will open. In the sidebar, select “User settings”.
In “User Settings”, choose “Play Activity Settings”.
In “Play Activity Settings”, select “Remove Play Activity”.
After selection, the switch will ask you to confirm. Select “Remove”.
Then you will see a message that the reading activity has been deleted. Select “OK”.
After that, the next time a friend views your profile on their Switch, your reading activity list will be empty. When you play games, it will start to fill up again. If necessary, you can periodically delete it from time to time.
How to hide reading activity from friends
If you frequently delete your reading activity and want to hide your reading activity instead, go back to the “Reading activity settings” screen and choose the “Show reading activity on” option. In the menu that appears, select “Person”.
After that, when a friend views your profile, the “Reading Activity” section no longer appears at all. Privacy at last!
