The Apple TV app contains a lot of quality content and Apple wants to help you discover it by offering notifications for new content. If you do not find it useful, iOS lets you change (or disable) these notifications.
Many of the TV notifications you receive are not even related to the content you will be able to watch. Often, the TV app will remind you that a new season is starting, and when you tap it, it offers to help you subscribe to watch the show! It's nice! Often, these notifications are more annoying than anything, so it's probably a good idea to disable them.
Fortunately, it's easy to disable notifications for the TV app on your iPhone or iPad. First, go to the Settings application.
Tap Notifications> TV.
To disable all notifications, disable the top switch and you are all together.
Of course, if you prefer to be more selective, you can disable some notifications, but not others. Once in Notifications> TV, you can select one of three categories – for example "Featured Sports" – and disable this category of notifications.
Sometimes a sword will work, other times you will need a scalpel. Anyway, we covered you.
