iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 first introduced a new suggestion bar at the top of the iPhone and iPad share sheet. If you never share directly with contacts and other devices, it can get pretty boring. As long as you’re using iOS 14 or iPadOS 14 (and above), here’s how to turn it off.

With the customizable share sheet, your iPhone adds a row of Siri suggestions right above the app bar. This is what you see when you press the Share button in apps like Safari or Photos. Here you would see AirDrop devices, shortcuts for iMessage conversations, and shortcuts for other supported apps.

If you run iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and above, removing this feature is just a matter of flipping a switch. (It is not necessary to use the workaround to remove contact threads.)

First, make sure you are running the latest version of iOS on your iPhone or iPadOS on your iPad.

Select Siri and search

Here, tap on the button next to “Suggestions while sharing” to turn off the feature.
