How to Disable the 90Hz Display on the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL

How to force a refresh rate of 90Hz

If you do not worry about battery life and want the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL to always operate at 90Hz, you're forcing the best display. We do not recommend it because it will drain your battery faster.

Before you can access the option to force a higher refresh rate, you must enable the developer options. To do this, swipe down twice to access the Quick Settings tile. Tap on the gear icon to open the Settings menu. Otherwise, open the "Setting" application in the application tray.
