How to Enable Low Data Mode on Your iPhone

Are you missing data on your limited mobile plan? Do you want to stretch the data for the last two days of the month? Try the new Low Data mode to reduce data usage on your iPhone.

How does the weak data mode

The weak data mode in iOS 13 and above interrupts any communication in the background. It stops updating back-end applications for applications and asks them to defer all non-urgent sync tasks until you are connected to a network on which the Basics mode is running. data is not enabled.

It also pauses all synchronization tasks in the background. Thus, when the Databases mode is activated, the Photos application does not save your photos.

Enable Low Data Mode for Cellular Data

To enable Low Data mode on your cellular data connection, open the iPhone Settings app and select the "Cellular" option.

Press the button next to "Low Data Mode" to activate the function.

Enable low data mode for Wi-Fi networks

Low Data mode also works for Wi-Fi networks, but not in the nature of all or nothing. You can enable and enable the feature for specific Wi-Fi networks that may include low data caps.

Open the Settings application and press "Wi-Fi".

Here, find the Wi-Fi network on which you want to activate the feature and press the "i" button next to it.
