How to Get a Refund From the Google Play Store

Just like when you buy a physical product, it is also possible to get refunds on digital products. With the Google Play Store, which includes apps, games, movies, books and more. We will show you how to get your money back.

The Google Play Store has a few different refund policies for the different products it sells. Apps and games can be refunded within the first 48 hours. Digital content such as music, movies and books can be refunded after 48 hours.

However, the easiest and fastest way to get a refund on an app or game is to do so within two hours of purchase. One thing to keep in mind is that you can only get a one-time refund for an app or game. If you pay a second time, you won’t be able to get your money back.

If it has been less than two hours since you purchased the app or game from the Play Store, you can easily get a refund. First, open the Google Play Store on your Android phone or tablet and navigate to the app or game you purchased.

read the Google Play Store page

As long as you are still within that two hour window, you will see a “Refund” button. Tap on it.

press the refund button

A message will ask if you are sure you want to refund the purchase and uninstall the app. Press “Yes” to continue.
