How to Quickly Select Emoji in Messages on an iPhone or iPad

With iPhone and iPad, especially the first one, iMessage is an integral part of how we communicate. This is probably one of the most used applications by many of us. Emoji users love it, but did you know that you can easily use words to call Emoji?

One of the benefits of the iPhone and iPad is that their on-screen keyboards make it easy to switch to a multitude of Emoji that you can enter in one click, but there is another way to send Emoji via Messages. them, in particular, is super fast. In fact, there are two ways to add an Emoji-shaped flair to a message you may not be familiar with.

How to quickly add an Emoji by typing

If you write a good message, no one is forced to change the keyboard midway. If you use an iPhone, this is not necessary because iOS will suggest Emoji based on the word you just typed. To test it, type the word "Apple" in a text entry window and note what happens in the QuickType bar just above the keyboard. Notice the two Emoji apples? To select one, just tap it.

It works in the middle of a sentence and is a very quick way to avoid changing the keyboard when writing a message. It works even for Emoji names containing multiple words, such as "Thumbs up".

How to quickly add an Emoji after typing

If you arrive at the end of a message and want to add a bit of Emoji for a little color, this is not a problem either. There is no need to go back and start editing; instead, switch to the Emoji keyboard by tapping the icon below the keyboard.
