How to Remove Your PIN and Other Sign-In Options from Windows 10

Delete a PIN, a face or a finger

Delete your account (administrator)

If you try to delete the only account of a PC you own, you can not just delete it. Instead, you must create a local user account, set it as an administrator, sign in to that account, and then delete your original account. The alternative is to reset the PC.

Enter a username, password (twice), set three security questions, then click the "Next" button.

You can create an account without a password, but this will serve as an administrative account. Therefore, not setting a password is a bad idea unless you sell or give the PC to another person. Even then, a complete reset is the best option.

When finished, the new local account is listed under "Other users". Select the new account and click the "Change Account Type" button.
