Your hearing is important and if you lose it, you will not be able to recover it. We all love to listen to loud music, but limiting volume is essential, especially for children. Here we explain how to limit the volume of Apple Music.
Parents know that it's important to make sure that their children do not destroy their hearing by listening to music with too loud a voice, but as everyone with children will attest, just making this statement is not always enough to ensure compliance. It's not that kids like to actively disobey – not always! – but sometimes things escape them. Fortunately, there are ways to limit the volume at which Apple Music can play, which means you can limit an iPhone or iPad to levels that do not jostle the eardrum.
It is important to note that this will only change the maximum volume of music played via Apple Music, which is unfortunate. If you use a different music service, check out its iPhone or iPad app.

How to set an Apple Music volume limit
Perhaps unexpectedly, the option to limit Apple Music volume does not reside in the Apple Music app. To get started, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad before scrolling to the screen and clicking "Music."
Then press the "Volume Limit", which is aptly named. A screen with a slider representing the volume limit will be displayed.
Set the volume slider to the required volume limit. Once set, iOS will prevent the volume setting from exceeding the allowed limit when Apple Music is used.
If you are in Europe, an extra rocker allows you to set the headphone output to the level recommended by the European Union. Activate or deactivate the switch according to your preferences.
