Apple offers several dynamic wallpapers on iPhone and iPad, among which you can add an element of depth and movement to the background. Here's how to set a dynamic wallpaper on your smartphone or tablet.
To get started, open the "Settings" app on your iPhone or iPad. If you can not locate it, open the home screen of your device to use Spotlight search.
In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap "Wallpaper".
Select the option "Choose a new screen background".
Apple offers and bundles different types of built-in backgrounds. Choose "Dynamic", the item at the top of the menu.
You can select one of seven dynamic wallpapers. While six include single-colored orbs, the first option is a mix of different variants. Choose the wallpaper you want to preview.
If you like the look of dynamic wallpaper in full screen, press "Set." You can select "Cancel" if you want to display one of the other options.
Now select "Both" to set the live wallpaper on your lock screen and your home screen, or choose one of the other options to display it in a single location.
That's all! You should be directed to your home screen where you will see the dynamic wallpaper in action (if you set it on both or on the home screen only).
