How to Turn on Your Flashlight by Tapping the Back of Your Android Phone

There are some smartphone functions that you want to be able to perform quickly. Switching on the flashlight is one of them. We’ll show you how to activate it by simply touching the back of your Android device.

This is possible with an application called “Press, press. »Once activated, it can perform functions when you press the back of your device. The app is not available for download from the Google Play Store, but it can be easily downloaded on any Android 7.0+ device.

Before continuing, follow our guide to get Tap, Tap installed and ready to go.

Now that you’ve configured Tap, Tap, we can configure the flashlight gesture. Open the app and select “Double Tap Actions” or “Triple Tap Actions”. For this guide, we’ll be using Double Tap.

Then press the “Add Action” button at the bottom of the screen.

In the “Utilities” category, select “Flashlight”. Alternatively, you can take a screenshot by touching the back of your phone.

The flashlight now turns on when you tap the back of your Android device. Then we can set up “Requirements”. These conditions must be met for the flashlight to turn on. You do not to have to add requirements, but if you wish, press “Add requirement”.

If you are worried about the flashlight turning on in your pocket, you can select the “Display on” requirement. This will ensure that the flashlight does not turn on when the screen is off (although you may find this handy as well).

You have finished! Now you always have quick access to your Android phone’s flashlight when you’re in a dark situation.
