When you set up your Apple Watch for the first time, it asks you to create a password. When the feature is turned on, you must enter it each time you turn on the Apple Watch. What if you could unlock the laptop automatically using your iPhone?
The access code on the Apple Watch is necessary for security reasons, especially since it is the only way to use Apple Pay on your Apple Watch. But entering the password several times a day can get boring quickly.
Using a setting in the Watch app, you can automatically unlock your Apple Watch when you unlock your iPhone.
To configure this, open the “Watch” application on your iPhone. Use the Spotlight Search if you’re having trouble finding it on your home screen. Then, in the “My watch” tab, go to the “Access code” section.
Tap the toggle next to “Unlock with iPhone” to activate the function.
Now, as long as you’re wearing the Apple Watch, unlocking your iPhone will automatically unlock your Apple Watch as well.
If you’re a Mac user, you can also use your Apple Watch to unlock your Mac.
