Your iPhone has a flashlight function, but why take it out of your pocket if you do not have to do it? Your Apple Watch can do something very similar. Here's how to use it when you have to stumble in a dark room.
Unfortunately, the Apple Watch does not have an LED flash as does the iPhone, so instead it sits on the small screen to provide enough light for make your way through a dark room or hallway. This is not quite as brilliant, but it prevents you from having to fish your iPhone every time.
To start, wake up your Apple Watch by tapping the screen or lifting your wrist. When the screen lights up, drag up from the bottom to reveal Control Center. Then press the flashlight button.
The screen will become completely white. It will appear dark at first, but tapping on it will allow full brightness and give you more light to see in the dark.
There are three "flashlights" that you can choose: white, flashing white and red. Red is ideal when you need to see in the dark, but do not want your eyes to fit perfectly in a clearer light. And flashing white can be used as a kind of beacon by attracting the attention of someone. Or if you run at night, you can alert the drivers that they see you. All you have to do is slide your finger left or right to choose one.
To turn off the flashlight mode of the Apple Watch, simply swipe from the top of the screen.
That's all there is to it! Again, if you only need a little light to guide your way, the Apple Watch is the way to go. However, it can not beat the LED flash of the iPhone. So, if you need as much light as possible, your iPhone remains the best option for that .
