When you think of the iconic Star wars sites, the Mos Eisley Cantina must be in the top five. At Cantina, we had our first sight of the destructive properties of a lightsaber. La Cantina introduced us to Han Solo, and the first Star wars earworm. Any fan of Star wars and LEGO should be excited about the incredible $ 350 retail LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina Construction game.
Lego
The fact that LEGO refers to the Mos Eisley Cantina as a “building set” should make this clear from the start; this is not a set for your five year olds. It is rated 18+ and contains 3,187 parts. You will build a full exterior of the Cantina that opens to reveal several stopped rooms. To access the interior, you can remove the roof and look inside, or if you want more access, open it like a book.

Inside, you can recreate the moment Han first shot (yes he did) in the dining coves or when Obi-Wan cut an arm at the bar. You can build a Landspeeder and a place to attach a DewDack. The set includes 21 minifigures, including seven new figures unique to this set. And of course that includes three members of the Cantina band – but not the music, sorry.
Lego
LEGO has included lots of little extras, like fancy posters for R2D2 and C-3PO and Kiber crystals embedded on the exterior of buildings. You even build a second, smaller outpost building that can attach to the main assembly to complete the display room.
the LEGO Mos Eisley Cantina releases worldwide in October for $ 349.99, and LEGO VIP members can get it early, starting September 16.
