New AR Mode Brings 'Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp' Characters to the Real World

Everyone’s favorite free mobile game is coming to the real world. Nintendo latest Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp The update unlocks the power of AR, allowing you to drop characters into the real world for a photoshoot. The update also includes an AR Cabin mode where you can experience 3D versions of your neighbors’ house, among other features.

the Pocket camp The AR camera looks like Pokemon GoAR mode. You choose a character, point your camera at an empty space or table, and drop the character into the real world. You can then choose how the character poses and take photos of them in the real world.

AR Cabin, on the other hand, takes you out of the real world and puts you in a Animal crossing home. You can admire the cabin for yourself or invite up to 8 characters to hang out with you. If only I could have this in real life… 😢

With all its new AR features, Pocket camp now has more customizable camping areas. Nintendo is also offering a one-month trial for the Furniture & Fashion plan (usually $ 8) to encourage Pocket camp players to collect and use more items.

Unfortunately, the last Pocket camp update ends support for some old phones. Nintendo says iPhones must be running iOS 11 to use Pocket camp, and that Android phones must be running Android 5.0 or newer with a 64-corn processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. Some gamers complain that although their device meets the new requirements, they can’t get the update Pocket camp to work. Nintendo has not responded to complaints about this issue.
