We understood; It’s easy to postpone Christmas shopping, but it’s not a good year to procrastinate. Yet despite our warnings to do your holiday shopping early, you’re probably still doing last-minute shopping. And with all shipping times, that’s a scary prospect. Now Apple wants to save the day with a $ 5 delivery in two hours. If you’re lucky enough to be close to an Apple Store, it is.

Proximity isn’t the only issue here either. According to Apple, you can only order two shipments on “eligible stock items. And you can’t do any customizations, like having this MacBook burned.
If you don’t need your giveaway today, Apple still has next day and two day delivery for many items. This includes iPhones, Macs, Apple Watches, etc. Not really gifts from white elephants, but options that will indeed make a merry Christmas.

For anyone trying to be safe in today’s climate, Apple promises contactless delivery service. This means skipping a signature and providing verbal confirmation (presumably via a door or video doorbell).

But if you’ve postponed Christmas shipments for too long and are still going to gift an Apple product, it’s good to know that you can get your gifts quickly and without paying an arm and a leg just for delivery.
