With a release date of July 31, Motorola’s flagship unlocked is now available for pre-order for an insanely low price of $ 499.99. The phone was originally introduced with a price tag of $ 699.99, so this discount is for pre-orders only and will revert to the regular price when the phone releases on July 31.
Motorola Edge and Edge + Phones were originally announced in April and together marked the company’s return to flagship territory after a long period of focus on budget phones. The phones will both run Android 10, support 5G, and have three camera bays. The Edge is the more modest version of the two devices, but remains an undeniably impressive mid-range phone.
The Edge’s specs are on par with the Edge +, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, 6GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 4500mAh fast-charging supported battery that can last up to two full days before needing another charge. The phone’s impressive 6.7-inch FHD OLED display wraps around the edge of the phone (hence the name) and can run at 90Hz or 60Hz if you want to save battery power.
It also has a headphone jack and two speakers under the phone. Cameras are perhaps the phone’s greatest assets. It has a 25MP front camera, and on the rear cameras include a 64MP sensor, 16MP ultra wide angle and macro vision, and 8MP telephoto lens, as well as a time-of-flight sensor.
Considering its robust list of specs, the Motorola Edge is a stellar midrange phone option, especially at such a low price point. You can pre-order the Edge today at Motorola website, sure Amazon, at Photo B&H, or to Best buy.
