The advantage of going through the Settings menu of the Samsung Galaxy S20 to activate the dark mode is to have the possibility of planning the functionality. If you don’t want to go through the menu every time you want to change the look of the phone interface, you can quickly activate the feature from the quick panel.

To access the quick panel, swipe down twice from the top of the handset display. The first scan will open the notification shade. The second will display a grid of icons.

Then find the icon that looks like a crescent-shaped moon called “Dark Mode”. You may need to scroll through the sections to find the button. Tap the icon to instantly turn dark mode on or off.

With dark mode now activated on your Galaxy S20, now is the time to deactivate the dashboards, sort the app drawer in alphabetical order and display the battery percentage.
