Windows 10’s Phone Calls Will Support All Android 7+ Phones

Make a phone call from a Windows 10 PC with an Android phone.

Microsoft has announced live calls at a Samsung event in August, but this feature will be available for all phones equipped with Android 7 or later. Part of The Your Phone app"Call" is moving to Windows Insiders.

Microsoft says this feature will only work if you use Windows 10 19H1 (This is the stable update of May 2019) with an operating system version number of 18362.356 or later. For the moment, it is deployed to Windows Insiders with the help of development versions of Update 19H2 of Windows 10, which will probably become stable in October.

This feature was announced in a blog post on build 18999 for The next update 20H1 of Windows 10, scheduled for April 2020.
